My research interests lie at the intersection of labor and development, with a particular focus on rural labor markets. My work ranges from exploring the impact of worker absenteeism on firms and investigating workers’ demand for flexible labor contracts to experimentally quantifying labor market frictions arising from informal village labor unions.

I have experience teaching or assisting with a variety of undergraduate and masters-level courses. I received my PhD in Economics from Columbia University in May 2018. I was a post-doctoral research scholar at the University of Southern California's Department of Economics from Fall 2018 to Spring 2020, and an adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in Fall 2020.

I am currently an Associate at Analysis Group.
